About the City Kitty Staff

Dr. Cathy Lund shares her home with her husband, Dr. Peter Karczmar (who is also a confirmed cat lover!), and their four cats: Simon, Miguel, Leroy and Milo. She has been a Providence resident since 1988 and is a 1986 graduate of Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Lund completed an internship at The Cat Practice, in New York City, where she realized that being a cat-specialized veterinarian was "purr-fect" for her. City Kitty is the end result of many years of planning and anticipation.

It is her sincere hope that you are as delighted with the clinic and its services as she is.

The Vet Techs

Susan, a native Rhode Islander, has been a part of City Kitty since 2001. She has three cats named Mocha, Java and Little Guy.

Kathleen also joined City Kitty in 2001. She is originally from Connecticut and has two handsome cats named Laddy and Zaius.

Lance, also a native Rhode Islander, has worked at City Kitty since 2003. He has two cats named Sam and Delilah.

Michelle is originally from Nebraska, by way of Virginia. She joined the City Kitty crew in 2005, and has two very patient cats who tolerate living with their other furry housemate...a dog!

Jess is also a Rhode Islander. She has been at City Kitty since 2004 and has one cat, Cuddles, who she got when she was just seven years old.

Emily, orginally from New Jersey, lives in Providence. She joined City Kitty in 2002 and has three cats: Patsy, Pepper and Mickey.
